Engagement

I just love the way this card turned out and yes decoupage again, I did need to make a quick engagement card for hubby and this is it. I used water colour paints to paint a subtle background for those two loving bears.

I even dug out my heat gun to emboss the ticket stamp, I thought I better do something extra with the decoupage being so easy lol. I have to admit I made this last week and the recipients loved it, I'm just waiting for a challenge, that I could enter it for.

Recipe:

  • Image - FF Decoupage
  • DP - FF
  • Ticket - Autumn Leaves
  • Tools - Deep Breath lol, Oval Nesties, MS Ribbon Punch, xcut flower punch, Heat Gun/Embossing power and MS Oak leaf punch. Breath..............
  • Flowers - PM
  • Stash - Ribbon and brads

Have a great day and thanks for callling in

For a boy

What a beautiful day, bit windy though, I'm stuck in the house waiting for the man to pick up the concrete mixer, was supposed to come between 8 - 12 it's now 13.20 I guess they don't realise that I have a life to, lol. Well it did give me and excuse to play Mmmmm.... do I need one...... I'll answer that later lol. Here's my card for the challenge over at Forever Friends for a boy here's my take on it. I know I'm not a fan of decoupage but here I am using it again, it's so easy all the pieces are cut out for you. I just love my car eyelets I forgot I had them it's amazing what you find when your not looking.

Recipe:

  • Image - FF Decoupage
  • DP - FF and Paper Mill
  • Tools - Silent setter. MS Ribbon Punch ans Cuttle Bug Embossing Folder (Swiss Dots)
  • Stash - Ribbon and Car eyelets

Thanks for popping in enjoy the rest of the day I think I'm going to play so more well I have to stay in and wait lol.

Spoon Full of Suger and Penny Black

Over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge the theme is Black and white with one other colour so here's my take on that. Also I'd like to enter it for a spoonful of sugar challenge as their theme is Buttons Galore. I quite like this card, I spent ages sewing on all the little buttons by hand, really fiddly, I just knew if I used glue to stick them on I would of ended up a mess lol.

  • DP - Dove craft Charcoal Prints
  • Tools - Oval Nesties and MS ribbon Punch and xcut flower punch
  • Stash - Ribbon, buttons and brads
