Sketch by Debbie

Hi well what a busy week it's been, I keep meeting myself coming forward, lol I loved making this card, I made it for Spoon Full of Sugar following Debbie's sketch. I have had the image painted for a while and the paper just been sat on my desk for ages, just never got round to using it, anyway hope you like my take on Debbie's sketch. I didn't want to use flowers as it's a mans card hence the circles, I did crumple them up a bit . Thanks for popping in catch you later.

Recipe
  • Image - Penny Black
  • Medium - H2O water colour paints
  • Tools - Nestie circles, labels and cricut for the numbers

Little old me a Guest Designer

Good morning sorry for the lateness of this post, had a crazy morning. I'd like to thank A Spoon Full of Sugar for asking me to be their guest designer this week, I feel so honoured to be asked and a bit worried as I have never been asked before (am I up to the challenge). The theme this week is Hearts,I have a motto never to make a card I don't need so hence the baby card with hearts on it, plus I just recieved my new Martha Steart Valentine Lace Punch thanks Bunny Zoe's Crafts you have to check this shop out, it has everything you need and all the things you have trouble getting hold off. Enough of that on to my card, I had another bash with Pro - Markers seemed a little easier to use this time, heres the recipe have a great Tuesday!

Hi every one I thought I'd better let you know what I have been up to. I threw a surprise party for my husband on Tuesday and all family live in another part of the country to us it was quite difficult, some turned up on Monday and some only left to day, so alas I have had know time to blog at all let alone make any cards. My spare room is my craft room so everything has been put away to make room for the guests. Needless to say had a great time but totally tuckered out so I'm going to dream land now, hopefully be back to normal next week, see you then

Forever Friends Torn Edges

It's been that long I think I have forgot how to do this. I have made this card for the Forever Friends Challenge Torn Edges. I got this stamp on Saturday. Although I had no inclination to ink it up. I thought I'd give it a go today, I firstly coloured it with whisper pens and made a mess of that, so this particular image is painted with H2Os not brilliant but that's the best I can do or more honestly, I can be bothered my Mo has gone off with Jo again argh................. Hey Ho it's another Christmas card done who cares ha ha.

Recipe
  • Image - FF
  • Medium - H2Os watercolours
  • DP - FF and Paper Mill card stock
  • Tools - MS Punch and Oval Nesties Cuttlebug embossing folder
  • Flowers - Prima
  • Stash - Brad and ribbon
Thanks for stopping by and all you lovely comments they really do make me smile, so go on have a go.

Sketch by Sonja

Hi just a quickie today I managed to squeeze a quick card in between everything else, lol so here is my effort. I'm entering this for A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge a lovely sketch by Sonja. The image has been painted for a few weeks and it's been sailing around my desk waiting for a card lol. I painted the image using H2Os and quite chuffed with the end result it's so shimmery (can't see it on the photo sorry! I tried). The fish hat pin thing was an accident, I have to admit I was threading the fish with the needle and it got stuck, wouldn't budge and hey presto! cool hat pin. I guess somethings are meant to be.....

Recipe
  • Image - Penny Black
  • Medium - H2Os
  • Tools - MS Scallop punch, Nesties and xcut corner punch
  • DP - Hopscotch
  • Stash - Buttons, needle and fish bead
Hope your enjoying the sun and have a great evening, thanks for dropping in

A little bit of me!

Hi I thought I'd explain why I haven't been blogging, just incase you missed me lol. I've been visiting my home town for the week, hubby was away so I thought I'd take the girls to Grans. We had a whale of a time walking through the wooods onto the beach (my fav walk) brings back lots of happy memories, anyway weather was great, sun, sea and sand who could ask for anything more.

Well hopefully I'll get some images, painted this week and make some cards and catch up on some challenges, I've got lots of cards to make this week lots of birthdays coming up. Hope your enjoying the sunshine, I guess we have to enjoy while its here, have a great day.
